Welcome to my website. I am Kaiji (Robin) Gong, an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I am also a research affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy (CEP) at HKUST. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University in 2019, and my bachelor degree from University of California, Berkeley in 2013.
My research interest includes international trade, innovation, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on the Chinese economy.
